Stanislav Liaptcev specializes in all aspects of the formation and operation of domestic and international investment funds, including venture capital, private equity, fund-of-funds, and a variety of other types of funds. In addition to his sophisticated sponsor-side practice, he represents high-net-worth investors in their private investment activities. Furthermore, Stanislav has a track record of advising clients on a wide range of corporate law matters, including M&A, joint ventures, and restructurings, with a particular focus on cross-border and emerging markets M&A.
Stanislav is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where he served as a Graduate Editor of the Journal of Law and Business. His academic background also includes a law degree with honors from Moscow State Law University and a Ph.D. in Law from the Financial University in Russia.
Stanislav is fluent in both English and Russian.
